Wooster School held its Commencement Exercises on Friday, June 7, 2019 to celebrate the graduation of the Class of 2019. These seniors join more than 3,000 alumni who have graduated since Wooster's founding in 1926.

Alicia, Bayley, and Josh's recognition of a life threatening situation, quick action, and attention to medical protocols in providing life sustaining CPR and hemorrhage control care of traumatic bleeding resulted in the preservation of the victim's life on scene. All were commended for their heroic response to action in a time of need.

The Wooster School Undergraduate Awards Assembly was held on Wednesday, May 29 in the Forever Young Gymnasium. Congratulations to all of the Upper and Middle School award recipients and their families.

Wooster School's athletic celebrations are a unique experience. The athletics department continues to seek ways to balance the "team" experience with that of the "individual." Finding room for student-athletes, coaches, and parents to reflect and share their favorite memories is a community and team building exercise and one that we feel is important to the success of our program.

Earlier this month, students in grades K - 5 met Matt Van Brink, composer of "Animal Estates Home Buyers' Tour," a musical for young audiences. Wooster students will be performing "Animal Estates Home Buyers' Tour" as part of their Spring Concert.

Charlie Stuhr '20 has been selected to compete in the Singles Championship Draw. Brady Knuff '20 and Andrew Felton '19 have been selected to compete in the Doubles Championship Draw. All matches will take place on Saturday, May 25 at the Torrence Hunt Tennis Center at Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, CT.

Jacob Smith '19 was recognized as the best player in Western New England Division III lacrosse with his selection as a high school All-American. This is the highest possible honor given to high school lacrosse players and only the third time in Wooster School's history.

In addition to winning the HVAL Tournament Championship, the Wooster School Varsity Boys Lacrosse team has been selected to compete in the prestigious McCoy Cup (formerly New England Small School Tournament).

In addition to winning the HVAL Tournament Championship, the Wooster School Varsity Boys Tennis team has been selected to compete in the prestigious Class C New England Preparatory School Athletic Council Tournament Championship. Coming off their HVAL Tournament appearance, the Wooster School Varsity Girls Tennis team has been selected to compete in the prestigious Class D New England Preparatory School Athletic Council Tournament.

Colin was selected for the Semper-Fidelis All-American program based on moral character and academic performance in addition to athletic abilities. Most critically, as a nominee he demonstrated a fighting spirit that improves the lives of his fellow citizens.

Senior leadership positions were announced during a special assembly. The gathering has been a Wooster tradition since its founding years. Summoned by the Chapel bells, students in grades 6 through 12 filled the Forever Young Gymnasium with excitement and anticipation as the junior class gathered in front of the crowd for the announcement of their senior year job assignments.

Wooster School's Center for Social Impact and Root Hog Lacrosse present the Medicine Games on Thursday, April 18, from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. The 3 v 3 lacrosse jamboree is for boys and girls of all ages. All money raised will go to the charities as designated by each participating team.
